The Text toolbar gives you the basics:
- Font Family — browse the list and pick one. Mix at most two fonts in a single design.
- Bold / Italic — quick weight and slant toggles.
- Spacing — tightens or loosens the gap between letters. Tight monograms (3 letters or fewer) look better with negative spacing.
- Stroke — adds an outline. Use this when text sits on a busy photo and you need it to stay readable.
- Color — opens the color picker. Light text on a dark image, dark text on a light image; check it with the photo behind it.
Tips for clean prints
- Keep text at 12 pt or larger for the crispest prints. If a phrase has to run smaller, set it Bold.
- A black stroke on white text is the safest legibility move on any photo.
- If the score nudges you about Color Distortion on a text element, ease the saturation back toward neutral.
If you want to combine text with a photo, the score article covers what the app checks for so your design ships at full score.
