How to clean your custom case the right way

Keep your printed design looking new. Cleaning takes 30 seconds and protects the print.

Custom cases are durable, but the printed design is on the surface. A few simple habits keep it looking fresh.

What to use

  • Soft microfiber cloth — same kind you'd use on glasses or a phone screen
  • Slightly damp with water, or with a tiny drop of mild dish soap
  • 70% isopropyl alcohol is fine for sanitizing, but use it sparingly and don't soak the case

What to avoid

  • Bleach or ammonia-based cleaners — these can fade or yellow the print
  • Abrasive sponges or paper towels that could scratch the topcoat
  • Submerging the case in water for long periods

Routine

Wipe the case down once a week with a slightly damp microfiber cloth. That's it. If you spill something on it, wipe it off as soon as you can — most things wipe right off the topcoat.

If your case gets scuffed

Light scuffs can sometimes be buffed out with a microfiber cloth and a little gentle pressure. Deep scratches in the topcoat can't be repaired, but the underlying design is well-protected and rarely affected by surface wear.
