Turn a photo into an AI cartoon

AI Cartoon restyles a photo into a clean, cartoony version of itself — flatter colors, smoother edges, more graphic. It's the fastest way to make a phone case look like custom art.

How to use it

1. Tap your image to select it.
2. Tap the wand in the image toolbar.
3. Choose AI Cartoon. You'll see "Generating, please wait…" while it processes.

AI Cartoon shines on a clear, well-lit subject:

• Clear faces — head-and-shoulders portraits with the eyes visible
• One subject, simple background — the AI stylizes the whole image, but the subject gets the most polish
• Soft, even light — keeps detail through the cartoonification
• Clean source photos — start from the original on your camera roll for the best detail

For best results on a group photo, isolate one face first with Portrait Cutout and then run AI Cartoon on the cutout.

Pair it with other tools
